BOB LUNDWALL'S 1964 GRAND PRIX - Bob Lundwall's 64 GP 05

Bob Lundwall was building this 6 speed Grand Prix when the term "Pro Touring" was just a glimmer in Jeff Smith's eye! I'm going to hound Bob for as many photos of this build-up as possible. For those of you that recognize the name, Bob is the founder of RetroMotive--the company that brought us 15" rims for our 8 lug drums!

This shot is obviously the trans. One of the main reasons I chose the Richmond was that it used external shift rods with a shifter offset to the left. I wanted to use the console and I didn't think an internal rail style trans would work. Replacing the crossmember and moving it rearward also required modifications to the parking brake cables.
