BOB LUNDWALL'S 1964 GRAND PRIX - Bob Lundwall's 64 GP 04

Bob Lundwall was building this 6 speed Grand Prix when the term "Pro Touring" was just a glimmer in Jeff Smith's eye! I'm going to hound Bob for as many photos of this build-up as possible. For those of you that recognize the name, Bob is the founder of RetroMotive--the company that brought us 15" rims for our 8 lug drums!

You can see how I had to modify the floor for the Richmond trans. The entire trans tunnel was replaced. Notice the step on the left to clear the shift rods. I also added the fourth guage to the center of the dash (I actually did that back in the seventies) and installed AutoMeter guages with a matching tach. I haven't driven this car since 1983, and have been actively working on it since 1991. Well, I'm thinking this will be the year!
