BOB LUNDWALL'S 1964 GRAND PRIX - 100 0849

Bob Lundwall was building this 6 speed Grand Prix when the term "Pro Touring" was just a glimmer in Jeff Smith's eye! I'm going to hound Bob for as many photos of this build-up as possible. For those of you that recognize the name, Bob is the founder of RetroMotive--the company that brought us 15" rims for our 8 lug drums!

On these engine shots you can see the left and right headers. I made these in my garage. I figure I have about 200 hours of labor in them. Very hard to make, but incredibly rewarding when they are finished. In the drivers side shot you can just see the mini starter from Butler Perfomance. The steering box is a variable ratio unit from a mid seventies Firebird. The dual master cylinder is 67 GTO.
