61 phantom Nomad motor

This is the stock motor from the 61 Impala kit. I added the M/T crossram manifold, "Offy" valve covers and aircleaners from the 62 Impala ragtop. The carbs are from the Pro Street 67 Chevelle. I needed carbs that were rather short so the hood would close. After using BMF to chrome "polish" the valve covers, I used a red wash to match the color of the motor and bring out detail. The valve covers are my favorite part of the motor!
